    Находясь все ещё в атмосфере моей трагедии, я считал этих людей с кухни моими товарищами по несчастью (Лимонов 1). Since I was still caught up in the atmosphere of my tragedy, I felt these people from the kitchen were my comrades in misfortune (1a).
